Working in Partnership
Hilldale and Foxton are working in partnership to provide accommodation and support to homeless people in Preston, Lancashire. This partnership started in 2022 and to date, has provided accommodation and services to 134 tenancies and 101 service users.
Hilldale manages the building which has 14 en-suite rooms as well as large communal facilities including a games room, laundry and kitchen. The property is a safe and secure place for Foxton clients to receive support and build a positive future.
The Foxton provides the support to the clients living within the property. They provide full accommodation pathways from the streets into accommodation and routes to long term accommodation. Clients stay ranges between 2 days and 2+yrs. Many of the clients are then able to move on to supported housing within other Foxtons’ properties throughout the city and eventually find a forever home. Homelessness is a significant issue across the UK and this partnership is providing a much needed opportunity for people who need support. The Foxton is a charity and relies on fund raising, donations and grants.
