Hilldale Housing Association is a small organisation that grew up in the Northwest but now has a national reach. We are part of the Change Housing Group that aims to support and develop smaller organisations by improving and growing their businesses and housing solutions to enable more people to live independently.
We are currently transforming the business to enable it to address ongoing challenges but also to strengthen it to facilitate further growth and investment to meet the needs of those looking to live independently with support.
We are looking for a Housing Officer to join our team who brings with them a positive can-do attitude, is a people person and someone who can make a positive difference to Hilldale Tenants. We need someone that does not shy away from challenges, isn’t afraid to work hard and someone that can be trusted by the team and our partners to do the right thing for our Tenants.
You will need to be able to work on your own initiative although you will have the support of the team you will be working remotely. We are looking for someone who can work alongside partners to improve services and help Hilldale grow and enhance its reputation across your region as a provider of housing solutions for people who sometimes have complex needs and challenging behaviours.
The role will be homebased but require visits to sites across Wigan therefore you will need to be able to travel with expenses paid.
The post is part time working 22.5 hours over 3 days per week which can worked flexibly.
The last year has been a challenging one for many people and in that time at Hilldale we have also gone through significant change and challenge which has built a firm foundation for the future. Our focus now is to use that platform to develop a more efficient and high quality service by developing our people but also by listening and responding to the needs of Tenants and those we work closely with.

The full time equivalent salary is £30,000 with a pro rata salary of £18,000.
